Traditionally made into a tea, damiana is also sometimes smoked. Damiana is reputed to have a wide variety of effects, from acting as an aphrodisiac, aiding the urinary tract, and helping relieve anxiety and stress. At this point there is not enough scientific data to support the effectiveness of damiana for any of these uses.
